“Landmarks of our lives.” Depicts the weather over the last few days in the Holme Valley.

Looking down to Meltham from West Nab, the familiar scene takes on a new serenity, cloaked in winter's icy embrace. Castle Hill and Emley Moor Mast stand proud, their outlines softened by snow, majestic against the frosty skyline.

In the Holme Valley, three iconic landmarks—Castle Hill, built to celebrate Queen Victoria's Jubilee, Emley Mast, and Holme Moss Mast—form a timeless triangle. As the snow blankets the landscape, they guide us home, tugging at the heart with every glance.

There’s something profoundly moving about seeing these landmarks under snow’s quiet spell, reminding us of Yorkshire’s enduring beauty in every season. Although we are always relieved to see it begin to melt and life to return to normal.
